rocket cushman?

I have seen this little vehicle putting around town before.  It is actually a mosquito fogger.  It looks like a rocket propelled Cushman.

mushrooms at the market

I was at the market today and decided to concentrate on the mushrooms.  There seems to be many many kinds.  These pictures are a sample of what was available today.  Don't forget you can click on the pictures for a closer look.  Use the "back" arrow on explorer to go back to the blog.

Watch where you sit on the bus

I have shown a lot about buses in the past.  I have also talked about having things in the bus you wouldn't expect to be there.  Like I sat with the air intake for the engine in front of me between my seat and the drivers seat. See this link http://enorman-thai.blogspot.com/2010/05/thai-cross-country-buses.html.  This day I was taking an in-town bus and saw a little girl sitting across the isle from me.  I took her picture and a picture of the batteries that she was sitting on.

Rain? Put up the top.

What do you do when it is raining and all you have is a motorcycle?  Use an umbrella of course.

Dogs ride

Dogs frequently ride motorbikes here.  They learn to balance quite well.  Hey where is your helmet?

one grandma power

Saw this old grandma and cart in traffic waiting for the light to change.  She proceeded like she was any other vehicle on the road.  "Hey I want to see license, registration and insurance for that thing!"

Buddha Statue

I was riding my neighbor's bicycle the other day and passed this Buddha along the highway.

Return of Pepsi

Pepsi is back after many months.  He was living with an Uncle and now has come to the lake.  See this link http://enorman-thai.blogspot.com/2009/10/pepsi-helps-wash-car.html to see him the last time I saw him.  He has grown up but has a great disposition and behaves well.  See the bump on his head,  He ran into a barbed wire fence the day this picture was taken.

Bus driving

On one of my latest bus trips I rode one of those buses where the passengers ride way up high.  I like to sit up front so I can see the impact coming.  I had a birds eye view of the driver.  Notice that the instruments do not work.  I have not seen a bus yet with a working speedometer.  Also notice the picture of the road with the sharp turn signs but with road markings (dashed center line) allowing you to pass.  They like to pass on corners.  Especially these big buses.
