I was riding a really old city bus today. These things are really patched together with just about anything. So here is the craziest shifter I have ever seen. The thing was wobbling all over the place but the driver had no trouble what-so-ever shifting and guiding this heap of nuts and bolts through the busy streets. See the guy sitting on top of the engine next to the shifter. I would have to say that the shifter placement was obviously moved. Perhaps the shifter was originally near the drivers seat. You think?
