There are many fisherman on the lake and almost as many ways to catch the fish. I will show different types of fishing from time to time. I did notice an inner tube floating around on the lake and as I was going to say that is had gotten loose when I saw a guy emerge from the water. He was spear fishing and had some success. Check out this fish with the eel like tail.

Have you seen the Asian toilet?
This toilet is under reconstruction so it is plenty soiled with mud and debris. The walls are being replaced soon. But this is the traditional Asian toilet. There just happens to be a frog living in this one! Remember if you are at an Asian shopping mall or airport, etc. you may encounter these toilets but... If you really want the western one look to the end of the row. Sometimes they will have a western toilet at the end stall/s. See the funny instructional video here.
Want egg on the stick?
As you travel on these buses there are many places where they stop for a few minutes. At these stops vendors hop on the bus and sell people food and drinks. This lady had eggs on a stick. The egg is peeled just like a boiled egg. They are actually cooked over charcoal on a grill. The egg inside is totally mixed so there is no white or yoke but just a pale yellow interior. They slip them off the stick into a bag for you. I won't eat them. Not sure how long they have been carrying them around. They cost about 60 cents for the stick of 5 eggs.
My Bus leaks
Remember you can click on any picture for a closer look. Use back arrow to go back to blog. Went to the lake for a couple of days. When I left it was raining a lot. The bus I got was air conditioned but... It leaked water from all the AC vents. There was almost as much water in the bus as out. You got wet just sitting there. When I started taking pictures of the seats the driver assistant took a small towel and began to wipe off the seats. By the time he got to the front the ones in the back were soaked again. Each time the bus cornered more water just poured from above. Many of the AC vents were gone altogether and the water gathered up there. There were not too many people on the bus so you could look around for a semi dry seat.

watch where you are!
I have made some observations about the infrastructure before. I did a blog on the condition of the streets and watching where you step. The dangers come from other places as well. There are plenty of dangling wires as you walk down the streets. Here is one. Care to grab the end to see if it has power???

Building a "Longboat"
Old trees near the lake
Here are some old trees growing near the lake. See the vines that wrap around the tree. The last picture is of Mango trees. When there are lots of people at the beach they can park under these trees for shade and in the spring the trees produce tons of fruit. Win/win.
